The Why… Behind our Viridian Ribbon

Each one of our Blind Dates With a Book is wrapped with our signature viridian green ribbon. The question is why?

When searching for the perfect the perfect name I wanted it to incorporate three things Magic, Nature, & Books. I am lucky to live in a state (Colorado) that has so many magical wonders! I wanted my online store to evoke those things! I went back and forth with using enchanted, evergreen, pages, velvet, and so on. However everything kept falling flat. Till I google types of green.

That is when I discovered Viridian!

Which was the perfect embodiment of one of my favorite places in Colorado - Emerald Lake

I created my brand around a place that made me believe in magic again. The moment I saw this snow water mountain lake I was captivated and it felt as if I had stepped into one of my fantasy worlds. I wanted to share this with others! Combining the magic of nature and the thrill of books. This is how the Viridian Library came to be and why I wrap each Blind Date With A Book in a Viridian Green Ribbon. So that I can share a bit of magic with each of you!
